    The Process

    1. Get in touch. Send me your PDF pattern along with any relevant information, such as whether it has been test knit, if you use a style sheet, or if there are any sections you'd like me to pay extra attention to.
    2. Receive a quote. I'll reply with my availability, an estimated turnaround time, pricing, and my terms and conditions.
    3. Book your edit. Once you accept the quote, I'll send an agreement and begin the editing process.
    4. Review your edits. I'll return your edited pattern with notes. You review the changes, ask any questions, and send me your revised version.
    5. Final check. I'll review your revisions, perform a final proofread, and return the finished pattern. We'll repeat this step if needed to ensure everything is polished.
    6. Invoice & publish. Once the edits are approved, I'll send the invoice.

    How Long Does It Take?

I'll respond to your inquiry within 48 hours on business days. The turnaround time for your first pattern edit is 5 business days. If you need a faster turnaround, just let me know and I'll be happy to discuss other options. Once you've submitted your revised pattern, I'll review it within two business day. If anything arises that could affect the turnaround time, I'll let you know as soon as possible and keep you updated throughout the process.

    How Much Does It Cost?

This is the most common question, and the honest answer is: it depends. Every pattern is different, so I want to be as transparent as possible about pricing before we get started. My hourly rate is €30 with a minimum fee of €60 for accessories and €100 for garments. The final cost depends on the time required to edit your pattern. To give you a better idea of what to expect, here are the typical editing times for some common pattern categories:

Please note the examples above are approximations of editing times for different pattern types to give you an idea. You will get an estimate before we start working together.
